MS Composit make the actual blades, cant remember the company who makes the software.
To my knowledge they are not yet for sale.

The manufacturers are:
www.nightgrafix.de
Apparently the 600mm and 470mm blades are anticipated to be ready for distribution by end of November 2007.

MS has been advertising them for almost a year now, but has not actually put them into full production yet.
I think that NightGraphix may be the first ones actually available to us mere mortals, but are very expensive at $450-$500.

They fly as well as the normal MS night blades, which I find nicer to fly than the align ones. MS normal night blades only have green lights and the MS TAG night blades give you one more (red, top blade only). You can programme the top and bottom blade individually with 2 different text and timing as well as 1 of 5 preprogrammed effects (Full,Smiley,Rotor,Line,Star) with timing. The build in lipos last much longer than the align ones. You need a so called "JETI-Box" to programme the blades. I think you will be able to do much more with the NightGraphix blades, well, once they are out.

Cool, Your lucky, maybe it is because you are almost local to where they are made.
I just checked, none of the USA dealers are admitting to having seen them yet. Even MS, and MS USA do not have them, Including dealers that have been on the waiting list for over a year.
I would be even more jealous if they were 600mm blades that could be put on my night ship.

Flyinfool,
why donīt you order them from MS over here? They ship to the US if I am not mistaken. Even though they say out of stock, I think it will be quick. (it says shipment whithin 10 days) It said the same on their page regarding the Jeti-Box. Got both items 2 days later with UPS.

If they had 600mm text blades I would give it a try.
My current night ship is a nitro 50.
I have 13 circuits of lighting on it,,,,,so far.
I really don't want to convert my Phazor 450 to a night ship. Yet.

Hello,
I am the producer of NGX.
I think you will be able to do much more with the NightGraphix blades, well, once they are out.
Yes, the MS blades are nice, but only have 7 programable LEDs.
Our 325 blades will have 24 LED.
This is the prototype:
http://www.nightgraphix.net/gallerie/albums/test/normal__DSC0706.JPG
With our Windows programm you'll easy set any of the 12288  pixel of every side.
But the NG-24 system is a little complicated, because the blades are very small.
I work on it!
This is NG-48 in action:
http://www.nightgraphix.net/gallerie/albums/test/normal__DSC0774.JPG
Next week, we build more systems of NG-32 and NG-48.
We 've made PCB's for
10 NG-48 systems, yellow/blue/red
10 NG-48 systems, red/green/red
and
5 NG-32 systems, yellow/blue/red
5 NG-32 systems, red/green/red.
Other colours are avaible against surcharge,
because it's much work to build some unice pices
for our blade manufacturer.
We'll let build the blades on order.
I've some "first blades" to sell now.
This are the following Systems:
NG-32, bladelengh 470mm, GFK symetric
Colour top - bottom - outher LED
1x yellow - blue - red
1x blue - red - green
1x red - green - red
NG-48, bladelengh 600mm, GFK symetric
Colour top - bottom - outher LED
2x yellow - blue -red
1x red - green - green

Toby, any estimation or plans for Trex 450 sized blades
and also I think the transfomer symbol would be very cool, you could do the decepticon on the other side possibly:

Hi,
we have one T-Rex 450 Prototype.
I want to make also a NG-24 serie, but the hardware must be more smaler than the hardware in the bigger blades.
The 325mm blades are only 4,5mm thin.
But I work on it.
I've upload some Pictures of the MSC system on our Gallerie.
There you cam see, how the blades are made.
If you want, you can compare it, with our blades.
But....
they only have 7 programmable LEDs.
Our NG 24 will have 24 LEDs.;)

when do you think you will be selling the 450 blades to US customers ? and what will the price be in US dollars about?
and when will it be a "final product" and no longer a prototype?
I did a little study on a 7 item:
There is a red fan I found in an airport (guess where ; ) that has a fixed text/logo, here is how it works:
http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/5540/parisej2.th.jpg (http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=parisej2.jpg ) http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/278/paintiiiub7.th.jpg (http://img123.imageshack.us/my.php?image=paintiiiub7.jpg) http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/4916/parisiipq1.th.jpg (http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=parisiipq1.jpg )
I did a detailed study as I am trying to have my AC blades working with it, I'll put it in a new post.
I understand the quantity of a serie makes the unit price... but there is obviously room for improvements about prices and size.
Cheers
