Does Phoenix work with Spektrum DX7?
Do I need to buy an adapter for DX7 or does Phoenix come out of the box with everything I need for DX7
Thanks,
Tal

Hiya,
Phoenix works with the DX7 with the adapter supplied with the software - you don't need to buy another adapter.
Kind Regards
Andy

oh, btw
dont forget to create a sim profile with your DX7 (copy you heli settings to a new profile, e.g. 20) and to change it to one servo, or in phoenix it all goes loopy!

I did this and I still can not get control of the helicopter...she keeps spinning out of control.
Phoenix worked just fine on the futaba 6exh but the dx7 I am getting frustrated.

You need to make sure the model for Phoenix has [SWASH TYPE] set to "1 SERVO" and "NORM", or you will need to decipher the CCPM mixing from the radio.

Would someone be so kind as to post their DX7 settings they have for the sim.
Yes, I have it set to one servo.
I still can not get control of the tail
the Futaba 6EXH I can get to work fine but not my DX7

You still need to calibrate the sim to the Tx. If you have problems, run the calibration again, with 1.03 and earlier, it sometimes seems to loose the info.
I set up my sim heli profile to Normal, set a normal and idle up pitch and throttle curve as per Finless video (not sure why a normal since I never fly using it :) ). And I did set two expo settings to the dual rate switches for pitch and roll (no rate changes, both rates are 100%, but o and 30% expo).
Normal:
Throttle: 0 - 60 - 80 - 90 - 100
Pitch: 40 - 45 - 50 - 75 - 100
Idle Up:
Throttle 100 - 95 - 90 - 95 - 100 (or use 100 - 100 - 100 - 100 - 100)
Pitch: 0 - 25- 50 - 75 - 100
I set throttle hold to 0 with a full pitch curve for autos ( 0 - 25 - 50 - 75 - 100).

on a side note... I seem to have to recalibrate every time I start the sim... and after about 4 or 5 min of being in the sime I have to recalibrate again..and it just gets worse and worse...
wondering if I have a problem with the TX or the sim...
