...Tosh, Paul, Steve, Daniel Jetzhin, LHS, etc. (in no order) and all who responded to posts, etc!

THANKS CHAPS!!!!!!

My Logo 14 had it's mainden flights this weekend, and WOW, this is so not t-rex 450 world! Done only 4 flights yet, and issues to sort out with time, but looks PRETTY FREAKING GOOD!!!!

Setup:

L14, V-stabi, Actro 24-4, CC HV85, Herculess HBEC HV, stock boom and 58 blades, running 12S!

It was a very warm day here in the UK (for the UK), and the setup runs supa-cool! Last flight was 5.5 to 6 mins, 10 t pinion with around 2100 HS, and so far I've used 2000mah out of packs. 75% Heli Flight mode (damn governor on HV85 not working) with v-curve to 85%. No, I'm no DJ, but boy, this is SERIOUS FUN!

Few issues to sort out, but hey.

THANKS AGAIN CHAPS, your help and inspiration are much appreciated!

i have a question... i was talking to a very good friend of mine who happens to own my LHS and was talking about a logo14. he had one and got rid of it. he said it was a great heli, extremely loght and nimble, but he said that the main shaft is canted forward like on a real heli. so when it hovers the body sits at an angle rather than level. is this true?

no that is not true. The angle of the shaft is equal to the boom, in flight it pyshically does not move forward or any awkward movements. The rake and overall angle geometry of the heli was designed like that for a reason, to keep the tail off the ground. When in comparison to most helis on the market you begine to really appreciate the way the Logos are built when you do a ton of autos. As far as how it sits, I dunno I do not sit long enough to look at it really, lol. I have never heard of anyone getting rid of a logo for such a silly reason, maybe it intimidated your friend or something I dunno.....

ok thanks, i was just wondering becuse it seemed really weird that they would be built like that. i was gonna get a 14 but now i think i might go with the 6003D when it comes out. that looks like a really nice heli.

If you having gov issues on the CC85 make sure you are at least up to code level 1.55!!!

Glad to hear your having fun with it :)

Dude,

Thanks for the HV85 vids and Logo build vids. Helped a lot and much appreciated. I've been through those HV85 vids so many times this weekend, trying to get is sorted, but hey, no luck.

Now, the HV85 is on 1.56beta version, and it is the latest and greates model according to CC support. But, no luck getting that governor sorted. Have emailed those chaps at CC, so will see what they say.

As for where the shaft sits on a L14, it's kinda a no-brainer. I don't care, for it flies bloody awesome! Maybe they should bend the shaft on more helli's then.. LOL!

thanks guys for the replys about the mainshaft, but i've decided on the 600 3D. I dont have to stretch it to run 600mm blades, and dont have to do anything to the gears or anything like that.
