Apart for the heatsink, is there anything special about this esc that makes it only fit for the logo xxtreme motor? Can it be used in other helis with different motors?

It came preprogrammed for Vbar governor. The motor and battery wires are alot shorter than the normal YGE 160. And the esc programming cable is as long as the esc throttle cable.
I am using one in my Ballistic.

The biggest reason is that the YGE 160 will handle 14S. The extreme NEEDS 14S and YGE can handle it.
As for other helis, yes it can be. I have been using one in a Rave ENV with a Scorpion HK-4535 550LE for almost a year without the heatsink. I'm getting ready to put one in a Rave Ballastic with the same motor, but the I'm using a new 160 with heat sink on it.
