find a site, pick a date, and let people know...and they will come.
or...
there will be about 10-15 heli events within a few hours drive of central TN. check out the calendars here and on other various sites.

There used to be an event in Columbia, but the guy there has not been involved in the hobby over the last couple of years, and I think they are not having that event there anymore.
As far as I know our event in Chattanooga is now the only official heli event in the state.... If you can throw one together down there we will he happy to attend.....
Thanks

There is a contest in Nashville each June. The 10th Annual Music City Championship will be held June 25-26th at Cane Ridge Park just off I-24 on the south east side of Nashville in Antioch.

Sorry I just threw out an odd name of a middle Tennessee town... No helis there. Just me being strange. apologies.
Full explaination:
That town is pretty much owned by a boarding school I used to attend. The school hosts non-academic related events like crafts festivals and such. In some alternate universe, I was thinking that they might want to host a fun fly. The place was such a bore when I lived there. A fun fly would draw 100% spectator attendance from students who live there. They have the space for it too. There are likely existing RC fields that would be a better choice. I'm just letting my imagination talk too much.
