HDX 500 Stock Motor Settings

Hi what is best seeting for this motor?

1.OFFVOLT = 12.0V,
2.BRAKETYPE = Disable
3.TIMMING = HIGH
4.START = SOFT
5.OFFTYPE = REDUCE
6.FREQ=PWM = 8khz (13KHZ or 8KHZ)
8.GOVERNOR = Disable


this is what i have but motor gets very hot !

If u have the stock Hobby Wing 60 amp speed controller, try using medium timing.

And did you get your motor cooler? what is the best timming? I heard that high timming is for motor abow 1000kv.

Are you using BEC with your ESC?

I have mid timming and motor gets very hot !

ESC hobbywing 60amp with esc (run very cool)

Motor stock (rum very Hot)

Pinion Stock

Lipo 4100mah 4cell 18c

join the club.. I have tryed evrything on the stock motor and the best way to get it no to hot is running 22T. Your HS will be low for 3D (lol, as this heli can do even 1D) but your motor will be just warm and not hot.
