For anyone wanting to use the CustomHeli CF servo arms on a 600N, don't.

nothing wrong with the quality of the product. It's just that they appear to be specifically designed for the 600E. and, while no disclaimer is made about the incompatibility, it appears that the change in deisgn of the bellcrank layout from the E to the N is enough to make installing them more than a simple matter.

for starters, if you choose to use Hitec servos, you need to make sure the servo you use comes with the small 24mm round servo horn. not all hitecs do. if yours do not (mine did not), then you'll have to pony up an additional $9 for 3 servo horn sets (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0095P?FVSEARCH=56315&FVPROFIL=++&search3=Go).

then, once you get the CF arms mounted to the wheels, you'll have to trim off a good bit of the wheel material on two sides so that the links will not bind. (pictures will come later---i have not done the grinding yet)

i have to say i really liked the ease of use of these arms with my S9451s on my 600E--even though there was a little manual labor involved in prepping the wheels. they went right together and worked great out of the bag for zero-sub trim setup.

but, because the links mount to the back of the servo horns on the 600N, i'd have to say this product is not designed for use with the N.

just a heads up. just order the red servo horns and be done with it.

I had the same issue with those CF overlay horns on 9451's on my 600N. By the time I got them to work without binding I was then worried about the integrity of the underlying servo wheel. I decided to pull them and went with the futaba sevo wheels which work perfectly, I might get the align captured nut wheels if my lhs gets any.

well, i forgot to snap a picture before i mounted them up. so i 'shopped up my cutlines on the stock photo. but, i'm not too worried about the integrity of the horn, since it is still has more meat left on it than the typical 'cross' horn.

it's going to work. but, it's not as neat of an installation as my 600E's 9451s.
