Hello guys,

im about to convert my 8.45 Extreme to 8.18. i will get the new clutch plates and 90T main gear.

my Q is - which shims will i need to add between the motor and engine mount for proper clearence ?

You will need .060 in shims on each side. Normally with the 8.18 mounts you need (1) 0.30 shim on each side. The 8.45 mount has .030 machined off the mounting face than the 8.18 mounts.

2 of these on each side should be correct.
