Hi.
Does anybody know if Futaba has made a new/updated Manual for the 14MZ?
There have been several updates with new features and functions, but these updates are not reflected in the manual available from Futaba-RC webpages. (I know the changes are described in the tech-notes following each update, but it would be very convenient to have it all covered in a complete manual)

Is there perhaps a new version available in the FFC-area?

Just print out the tech notes. These are the addendums for the manual. See no reason to make a completely new manual just due to a few updates. The manual still has all the information needed to operate the radio.

Hi.
You opinion is noted David, however I do not agree. -When you buy a radio for $2000+ the Manual should be covering all the functions and features of the radio. It should not be necessary to search on the net for applicable tech-notes to have the complete documentation for the radio.
As the radio is over 2 years old, an updated Manual would be expected from a serious manufacturer as Futaba.

I think that a new feature/upgrade available within the last 6-8 months after the last revision of the Manual can be covered with tech-notes, but not that there will be years of upgrades/tech-notes that needs to be found by each customer.

The 14MZ is a fantastic radio with a lot of features, and I think that many of the questions and problems posted on forums like this would be easier solved if the manual was a bit clearer. -For instance, many people struggle with pretty particular issues with the 14MZ like Group/single functions and the Governor-Gyro menu. -An improved Manual on these points will ease the task for many.

Perhaps Futaba will respond to a request for an updated manual if more people ask for it?

I would also like to see a new manual. It seems like a reasonable request.
