Is this the final resting home for my $500 paper weight? I haven't been this excited to get a heli since I got the payment notice for my TDR!
The more I think about it , 12s with the 4535 with 4400 batts and yge 320 are going to be perfect for my flight style. I really want to use this 4540 but it's kind of silly on a 700. I'm sure I'll get the correct pinion to give it a try but unless I was only speed flying, I don't think I would use the power. I've had the 4535le sitting here for 8 months, may as well use it and find an 800 size project for the winter and use the 4540 on that.
I know this probably could have gone in setup but we can always use another thread!

Some banshees use a 5035 EVO on 16s, so I dont think your 4540 would be silly on this unless you are doing 3D. ;)

Yea, I know it can take it (that's why I bought it:thumbup:)
I just want the ability to rev it up for speed and slow it down to throw it around. The 4535 is 100 grams lighter and I have lots of 6s packs and no 7s. Maybe if they release the speed fuselage, then throw that 4540 in.

I'm also going the 4535LE on 12S.
Can't wait. :)
Cheers Craig

What pinion are you going to use with the 4535?

Have ordered the 21T. I want 23000 RPM @ 16deg.
In Aus we have an event coming up.

Got to beat last years winner. LOL
Crashed my TDR a couple of weeks ago at an event doing drag races.
It had a first stage 15mm belt drive with the 4535LE motor.
I was running 2100HS with 18deg pos pitch. No bogging just broke the belt in half. LOL These motors have lots of power. :)
Cheers Craig.

+1, silly is not buying the Banshee if you can afford it, so you are past the silly stage. Will be running a croco 4540 on mine as well.
Will also experiment with a croco 4035 for an ultra light setup. This Banshee is incredably versatile...damn, now you made me think I may need another kit.
Ralph was telling me about the 5035 that Stefan flies on the 16s Suzi...wow, what a beast!

Hey craig 23000rpm will be insane ;) lol
I would get 2 or 3 pinions and have a play. I think rtf weight and performance with 4525le and 4400mah packs will be insane!!
When is kosmik
Out??

Thanks.
Im trying a 3D setup for my banshee. 4525LE, jive, 4400MAH 12S TP packs. Should be pretty light!

Yeap, though the KosmiK is 80gr heavier than a Jive. I am getting one for my Speed TDR but after the Speed Cup I am unifying into one TDR only, and I have to decide if I put the Kosmik in the Banshee permanently (most probably) with a light motor (Pyro) and when I want to compete I only put the 4540 in, or I use a HeliJive for even more lightness.

A sub 10 pound banshee is intriguing! Maybe a rewound pyro is in order. I'm definitely trying the 4540 and 4535 first though. It's bugs me spending the $1100 on them and not even trying them out.
