Does anyone know where to buy urethane paint in small quantities. My local auto paint supplier doesn't stock the bright colors that I want.

Steve,
All you need is the paint code. The auto paint jobber can mix any color you want if you know what to ask for.

I showed them samples of what I want and they said they couldn't do it. They just don't carry bright florescent pigments.

there are a few online store that will sell small quantities of the house of kolor paints. you could do a search and find one. I paint all my canopies with createx auto air, it works good for me and its cheaper and easier to work with.

This place I believe will sell smaller quanties. They are an HOK dealer. You definitely want House of Kolor paint for the brightest colors.

www.hokpaint.com they have the full line of House of Kolors and Createx Auto Air colors....HOK can be bought by the quart and Auto Air comes in a 4oz bottle size.....both are very good products.....the Auto Air paints are water based so fancy resperators arent needed when painting

If you are looking for some nice opaques, PPG has a chip sheet with some really good ones. If you want pop like candies and pearls HOK or SEM will have the stuff. Steve, where you are at might require a trip to Knoxville. I live in Cookeville and have to take my car to Nashville next week so while it is getting worked on I'm going down the street to a PPG dealer that I used to buy all my paint from and I will get some of the latest chip books to peruse. If there is anything of interest I will drop you a line via PM.

Thanks TMoore.
If you have time to take a look, that would be great. Gail wants her Raptor done Hot Pink and Blue. She wants the Vigor done in Yellow and Purple. I know it sounds like a Pimp Mobile :glasses2:, but the design she came up with looks pretty good. Hopfully I will have them both painted by B'ham.

Check out the hot pink candy at

That's the place to get really good paint stuff without spending all the cash that you will at HOK.
