I need a little help with the pitch and throttle curves on my 550 pro. I've done all the finless recommended fixes on the bird. The motor I have right now is the Gaui stock motor and ESC. I have the Century 600 and 80amp esc on order now with Dual Sky 2200 25c batteries. The setting I have now the bird is really pitchy at 50% normal mode. I'm almost thinking of going with my trex450 setting. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Lynn

What settings are you using at the moment?

2200's will be getting a good workout with your new motor & will only give you shortish flights. Something in the 3300 sort of area is better when your running the likes of the Z30. Decent flight times & your not thrashing your lipo's so much.

Using a DX7 with +10 -10 myself. I've never touched my pitch settings from default, they are 0,25,50,75,100 in all modes, with 0,25,50,75,100 throttle in NORM, 0,70,80,90,100 throttle in IDLE1, 100,90,100 in IDLE2, not that I use that much lol. Flies fine for my novice skills in NORM or when I'm zooming around doing stallish turns & big fig 8's I flick it into IDLE1 for a bit more head speed. I guess it depends on your flying skills & power needs as to what's best for you, but these setting work very well for me at the moment & it flies nice & stable with power when I need it.
