Slash 6808

I traded a blade 450 for a slash 6808 4x4. I have zero experience with rc cars. As with all rtr vehicles I removed the stock batt connectors and replaced with deans. I ran the truck with the included 8.4v 4500mAH and it moved. Being a heli guy I logged in a hyperion 11.1 2200mAH 3s 35c lipo. This thing did a backflip... Wow. What is suggested for lipos on this monster? What are mods that I can make for control using lipos? I think i have found a new addition to my hobbies. I want to test her out at los dirt track.

I also just got my first truck, samething just the 2wd version. Im using a 3s 5200 mah 50c lipo bought from my LHS. Its a dynamite speedpack hardcase lipo, works really well runs around 20-25 min! Ive heard you want a really good discharge rate cause when you nail the throttle it really pulls some power!
