Hi all,

This is not a side by side comparison who is the better lad. Rather some RC fliers has told me :

Futaba Radio is good for Heli while
JR Radio is good for planes.

Does anyone knows what's the special difference ?

The special difference is the secret sauce. I'd tell ya what that is, but, well you know, then I'd have to kill you. (J/K'ng)

Actually they're both good for everything. I've been a longtime Futaba fan but my XR3 Pro and DX7 (basically a Spektrum-ized JR9303) work flawlessly.

I think it all boils down to which one is on sale at the time.

I went JR because it fit my hands better. The top switches are further apart.

The other thing is, nobody has seen the need to do a JR programming book. :) I find it very easy to do, no manual needed even.

Thanks for the input. Guess I simply go for whichever fits my fingers nicely then. ha..

Yep.

They both do the job, they are both easy to program. If you can program one you can figure out the other so get whichever feels best to you.

Another data point is, what do most people fly when youa re? Because, like with helis, it haleps to fly what other people fly, so they can help you.

I'm flying in Singapore here..

It is mixture of Futaba and JR majority.

small handful of multiplex Royal Evo.

Guess regardless any model , there is always somebody having the same brand.
