New Align Muffler. Anybody using it yet?

In a preview photo earlier this year the Align muffler was shown as it is now + a blue anodized version.

I know of atleast one SB50 for sale because the thing paid for the Align with pocket change left over.

how is the sound?
I heard the Funtech A395 HN 50 is pretty quiet and power is good also...
Is the Align pipe about as quiet?

I really can't decide between the Hatori 522, the Funtech HN 50 or the Align pipe.
Soud is a big issue at our field but i want some decent power too :D

Its not as quiet as the Hatori SB50 and its not as loud as an MP2

I know they had a prototype one in blue anodized trim. I guess they decided not to go with it? It looked cool to me. Red tail boom.... eh... not so much. :wink:

You guys have to remember who is on their deisgners list,,,,,, JK himself, that pipe has JK Hatori ideas written all over it.

I'm finding this pipe is happy at the higher head speeds.

Hope it's as good as everyone says it it. I saw some exhibition flights with that pipe in T-rex 600N at 3DM, don't remember if it was Jason Krause or some other top pilot. It surely delivered. The weight is much better than MP2 that I'm using now.

So now I have one on it's way from Andy @ Realraptors, should be here tomorrow!!

compared to an MP2 on a YS it's more quiet in a idle, in the air at full speed it's pretty loud but has a diff. tone to it (lower)...I havn't had the chance to tune it in yet (G-force HE fan issue) but it sounds and feels like it will be just as good as the JK Hatori. I have the one piece JKS on the way so I'll test them both out.

This must be a very hot item!! I had ReadyHeli to email me when they had it back in stock!! Before I could put one in my cart, they was sold out again!!!
