ESC fried?

Hi freaks,

I accidently connected my ESC to the battery in the wrong way, this was just for 2 sec or so, but the batt and esc got really hot! I think the esc still works because when connecting it correctly I do hear the beeps. Seeing that I'm still in the process of building my t-rex I have no way of knowing if it really still works like it should. Anybody here knows, can I be sure that when I hear the beeps everything should still work fine or should just go and buy a new one just to be sure?

Try it and see. The motor is what's making the beeps. The ESC uses the motor as a sort of "speaker". If it's beeping and porperly powering your servos, give it a whirl. (no pun intented)
