Default tail fin vibration

alright i got my 550 up and put 3 flights on it and absolutly love it but when i hit around 80 percent throttle and up the tail fin is vibrating a good half inch, no binding in the tail and all the gears sound smooth had to be a vibration issue. i have read about people chasing this problem but have not heard of any solutins ...... any ideads?

The solution is to put the T-Rex 700 tail fin on it - seriously. The 550 fin is thinner & flimsier. That's all there is to it really, unless you just WANT to put another TT bearing in the boom. I have 2 & several other people are using 2 or 3. There's probably no need to go that far, just put the 700 tail fin on & see how that does first.

Or double the 550 fin and put a screw with a locknut through the hole at the bottom to hold the two fins firmly together. It stops the resonance vibration just fine.

How ironic. I just ordered a G10 fin from Helidirect. My plan is to sandwich them together with CA glue. I will let you know how it turns out.
