After my 1st post "600N good first heli?" i decided to go for the 600N sport.
But once i got to the shop i ended up with a lovely PRO kit.
It was not until i opened the box i realised it came with no muffler and blades(unlike the raptor)
I will go for a muscle pipe but can someone recommend a good set of blades for a novice seems a shame to go for carbon at this stage,Is there good wooden ones out there.
Also i read about putting come weight collers on flybar at the start to slow things down, none to be seen in kit,can i use raptor items.

I would not use wooden blades.
These are well priced to start with http://www.modelhelicopters.co.uk/acatalog/Blades_LmGlass.html

2nd that - make sure its the 600A and not the 600B CF blades - they're great ! stiff, pop nicely and well balanced. USing wood blades is frought with peril and they're only good for hovering and gentle FF - if you have to go cheap get the ALign GF blades they're not too bad. I really really like my V-Blades - though they're expensive they perform fabulously and having a wooden former they don't slpit open at the seam like the ALigns do on a light brush with Mater Terra.
PS You don't need flybar weights - just keep the HS down to around 1700

Did not think I would find any of them in the UK, but here they are bit more expensive than the JP carbons though.

For the 10 quid saved you won't notice any difference from the CF - go for it !

...not the 600B CF blades ....
What's wrong with the B-version?

What's wrong with the B-version?
Nothing wrong - just not the best beginners blades - they're lighter - so less inertia, speed up and slow down quicker, not so good for autos and they're more flexible so less stable (maybe the rounded tips contribute to this also) - reminiscent of MAHs good for fast quick response moves but IMHO not so good for basics - just my 2¢ !

Another vote for Align Fiberglass 600A blades. Cheap and fly very nice especially to learn on.
