Hey everyone. Does anyone want to explain how to get this motor on my CP? Do I need a new tail kit or something?

Just buy the motor and a push on prop, grind the stock tail mount a little bit and cut off the part where the bearings go. This sets it up so the prop is pushing toward the motor and therefore the prop has a much harder time coming off. But if you are using the adapter, then you can mount it any way you like

I will post some pics later if you're still wondering

update: don't have my camera around right now, if you need pics I'll have them up around 5:00pm ET today

I have tried to make it all fit but the motor goes in slanted. Also I'm not very good at "winging" things when it comes to rc. So there has to be a kit somewhere to buy. Isn't there?

You can get the tail blade with adapter from many sites like helihoby.com though they don't have a great rep and it might be out of stock at the moment. Go to http://www.bladecprepair.com/man_tr_dd_conversion.html this is the GWS DD tail mod, you can see what you need and how to put it together

or you can just enlarg the hole to ft that brass ring through so it sits flat..
