In this month's RC Heli, it lists Alan Szabo Jr. as having been using a "Spektrum DX7 SE" whe he won the Futaba XFC 2007. Anyone know what the "SE" means/is?

I've read somewhere that the DX7 SE is faster than the standard DX7 (less latency) and it has 2048 steps vs. 1024 of the standard one.

I think the article explains it somewhere. The SE was built just for him. It is a standard DX7 with much faster response times. He combines it with new ultra fast servos (don't remember which ones but they are in the article as well).
