Don't have one but I believe the carbon fiber is designed to break in a crash...

CF will snap, Alu will bend. Go with either, I'd probably lean towards the CF myself.

I was told to use the red alu ones. Mejnertz started using the CF ones,
and when he tried some maneuvers, they broke. So they are for newbs
only!

I am looking forward to fly mine soon. I only need to find some M3x10 screws -
it looks like some are missing in my kit. And set up mechanics and VBar, of course.

Cheers
Erik

I've got a kit just sitting there looking back at me.... Just need to get some cash together to get all the electronics before i make a start on it!

Haven't quite finished mine yet.

I had to choose between Scorpion 4025-630 on 12s or Hyperion 4025-1100 on 6s.

Well, since I now need a lot of power for an EDF project, the Beam will get the Hyperion.

Time to finish the bird. Unfortunately it's quite windy this month. Forecast says so, even ;-)

Cheers
Erik
