I am needing to replace my servos on my bird. It is a raptor 30. After a FF crash. My servos I have on there are not staying steady. They are old and need replacing. They are futaba 148. I am thinking about got with a with just a standard servo nothing special with a speed about .19. Since I am still learning and crashing alot I am thinking about staying with a slower servo, What do you all think.
Getting a new gyro also 401 with 9254.
Thanks for any help

get whatever you can afford... Dont go cheap now, just to have to upgrade later on b/c you aren't happy with the speed of your "temp" servo's. If you can afford nice digitals (they've gotten cheaper) get those as it will save you the time, effort and money in the long run.

You will probably upgrade someday to a larger heli, so I would consider Futaba 9252's or if money isn't a problem then go with JR 8717's , in my opinion one of the best new servo's out there and it will work on a 90 size too.
