Hey guys I went the the hobby expo here yesterday (not much to see though except Taylors Turbine helis and his BIG gasser)
This guy had some REALLY nice foamys for sale.
I am ordering one soon as he gets caught up.
The nice thing is his "pro" models the wing is 6mm and has some really nice lightweight mods done to make them tougher and fly better.
Also check out the F-15 and F-18 Jets. They are awesome...

Be forwarned, A few others and myself have order stuff from there and it took 3 months to get it.It took a month just to get landind gear.Dont get me wrong,Levi by far has the nicest kits ive seen but not worth the wait.Do your homework,do a search and make your own decision and good luck.I would say just download the plans and build it youself.

I tell you what I would wait 3 months for the kits I saw.
The quality of them was the best I have seen yet in a foamy.
He had a ton of the older ones he was selling at the show.
His site does say they build them on demand so I would imagine that the first couple runs were way over his ability to produce. These kits were selling like free fuel at the show.
I didn't have my checkbook and he wasn't setup for CC's at the show or I would have got one there. :(

thanks for the ad 3D...i think:),

I've got a few of his depron kits in stock, but all are the original wing design. I got these right before he did the wing redesign. If anybody's interested, email me and I'll let you know what I have and how much.

as for levi's reputation. he hasn't deliverd in a timely manner but he has delivered and been extremy nice and generous about the delays. he has supposedly gotten his feet back under him after their first child's birth and he has also supposedly set up another cutter. truthfully, I think he got caught by a slew of orders/interest and just wasn't ready for the demand. he is adjusting and trying his best to work thru it though. hopefully he's gotten everything a lot more under control now.

I'm pretty sure 3D Foamy has gotten it under control. Levi now keeps a stock of the foamies now whereas before he would make the kit when you would order.

I ordered my 3D Foamy Funtana S Monday last week, Levi got back in from a vacation that Wednesday, so he had to ship out all of the orders from that weekend; mine was shipped Friday. It got here Monday, and I flew it yesterday.
:D
All I can say is wow! This Katana flies like the big airplanes! It is fun to just fly it around, unlike my Ultimate which pitched in FF like crazy. It also breaks into a clean snap, and with 60 degrees throw on elevator this thing can pop into a wall with ease. :D

I ordered on Sunday night from RCAirworks, recieved the kit Thursday morning and Monday was a holiday!! Can't wait to get it together and give it a try. I'm flying a foamy 540 from HL right now and it's a blast. Can't wait to give Levi's new wing design a try.
