Hey Freaks,
I've been having a problem with tail drift with my 601 gyro on my new Stratus. I've checked many things and still cannot find whats causing it.
So far I've checked:
* Security strap not too tight
* Extra slack in sense lead
* Correct foam
* It's a new SX, however I have the OMI mod carb and have run about 10 gallons through it and it seems to be running very smooth, with no bucking
The gyro is mounted with the steel "sandwich" plate. Could this be providing too much movement? What does the plate do? Should I try running without the plate?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Chris

Where is it (sensor) mounted? There have been quite a few people having the same problem. They've had to move the sensor under the battery plate. This evidently isolates the sensor from the vibrations eminating from the start/clutch shaft.
