Hey guys, I was just wondering if any of you have or had an Esky Honey Bee King II? It seems like a better deal that a CPP. It even has a belt tail.

They only go for around $160? If this is a better heli then the CPP, I think E-Flight may be screwing people. I paid a little more that $200 for my Blade CP. Wish i had done a little more research.
So is the Esky any good? What do you guys think?

I've got solid local hobby shop support for both my Blade and T-Rex. I'm no more than 40 minutes away from enough parts stock to rebuild either. If you're doing everything through mail order, local access to parts probably is not a deal-breaker, but a local hobby shop makes all the difference when you can crash on Saturday, then fly again on Sunday.
The Horizon Hobby distribution network is simply far more robust than Esky in the states.

The Honey Bee King II is better than the Blade for sure. But if I were you I would wait for the blade 400 its better than both the King and Blade combined. That radio is definitely a keeper.

40 minutes from a hobby shop, damn . i can throw a pizza in the oven, go to the hobby shop, get what i need, put a few minutes in on the sim. then be back at home with enough time to look over my heli and start planning my attack on the repairs.
i think i would go nuts if i was 40 minutes away from my lhs.
ya the blade 400 comes with some stuff that if anything, would be worth it buy its self if the heli turns out to be crap. the digital servos would go nice with a cp or cpp. the radio i hope is a keeper and able to be used with the ar6000 and the rest of the spektrum rx's. the brushless system i have faith in cuz well eflite makes the park series of bl motors. hell im even using a eflite 40amp dual bec esc in my trex..

I have 2 King V2s..yep, they are keepers too! Get a barebones for 70 bucks throw away the motor and put about 150 bucks worth of good electronics in it. Makes a very capable machine. Trouble with E-Flite is you are stuck with only the RTF option. Bare in mind the Kings stock brushed motor is a piece of crap and has to go right off the bat. I fly my Kings allot more than my SE. Smaller and just as capable. Parts are still a little scarce but most everything is available online from RC711 at a reasonable price. Heli Direct is slowly getting up to speed on parts supply too. Can those BCP/BCPP/HBCP2 motor tail pieces of crap.I have four I hardly ever fly anymore. Just too fiddly keeping them going. (my $.02)

If you can wait, get the blade 400, it's a little bigger, so shouldbe more stable, alredy has a brushless system, and has a really nice radio... So if you can wait, it's an easy choice
