I was at my local flying feild, SunSet RC Club. I was doing some inverted flight when my heli sputtered, I rolled in over and it stalled. I was doing a really good auto when all of a sudden the water jumped up and stole my heli right out of the air. This is some bad as water, it still has not returned my heli and this was about 8 hours ago. Hoping tomm. will be a better recovery day.

Well it came out today. There was alot of work involed and I would like to thank my friends Dave Yarrington and Leo for there help. Without them it wouldnt have happened. Got to tear it down today to get it dried out and sent off to be tested, futaba parts and duralites. Water was at 31 feet on my dive computor, at least that was the max depth. I think heli was in aroung 28 feet. the water is so dark you cant see 1 inch in front of you. So it was feel and hope you didnt get the gator by his tail.

Rodney, bless your heart.... you haven't had a lot of good luck lately with this and the deal on the plane. Take care my friend and I hope the electronic damage will be held to a minimum.
I am glad you were able to find it. I am an ex-diver (certified in 1975 and quit diving in the 80's) and I know how lousy it feels to dive in murk that you can't see anything.... dang, just not fun. Glad you found it and had no gator incidences !!!!

I have been drying and scrubing electronics for the last hour or two. I think the only thing im going to loose is the duralite. It seems to have went up in smoke, only I couldnt see it thru the dark murky water. I dried and cleaned evrything else, all seems to be working without gears in them that is. I will assemble them all ans send to futaba for the final checkout.
