I am set to get a 3dx 500 shortly, and Im quite keen to run 5s, efficiency and all that.
What size would be best for power to weight and 6 minute flights?
I have yet to decide my motor and gearing options, but would like a sustained HS of 2800.
I have flown my Quick of Japan EP8 with good success on 6s 2150, easy 7 minute flights.
6s is no good with one of these, so is 5s 3000 enough?
I cant afford Flightpower or TP these days, but have found that Maxamps makes the 3000 20c, weight is 370g, $129
The other packs I was looking at are Mega Power 5s 3600, but these are very porky at 516g.
Any other packs around $130 that are worth looking at?
I know you get what you pay for and all that, I have a different size Maxamps pack, and it has been great so far.
