Epansion Pack 3, upgrades G3 to G3.5?

I just picked up Expansion Pack 3 for my G3 Flight Simulator and after loading it into my computer, it seems like this expansion pack automatically upgraded my G3 to G3.5. I had been putting off the G3.5 upgrade because I am on dial-up and was going to send for the CD instead of suffering a painfully slow online download, but now I'm not sure I even need to worry about it.

Any thoughts on this guys? I've got some new models, night flying, and the icon now says G3.5. Do I still need to upgrade?

if i remember correctly
a while back when the G3.5 download was released.
it was in prep for the expansion pack.

can ask at the knifeedge forums ...someone there would know.

H ow often does that happen , a FREE down load for FREE!!!! i had already gone to 3.5 when i bought exp.3 nice upgrade .
