View Full Version : DX6/BeltCP setup help
The title says it all. I have a Belt CP that came with motor, esc, servos, and gyro. I upgraded to the HH gyro and a Phoenix 25 esc. ThunderPower 2100mah 3 cell lipo and a Spektrum AR6000, 6 channel Rx. Any set up advice appreciated. :noteworthy

Don't have a BeltCP but when I built my first kit, most of what I needed to know was included in Finless' videos, especially the T-Rex 450 build.
Mine was actually a MiniTitan e325, but most of the info was relevant and totally helpful! B)

You need to remove the servos and electronics wiring from the original esky receiver (the esky receiver is the one located under the gyro - check this picture (http://www.china-magic3.com/picture.php?cat=58&image_id=509)). Connect the servos connections to your new DX6 receiver properly, then connect the brushless motor esc to the slot 3 (or the one marked with THR in your DX6 receiver). Gyro is to slot 4. Make sure your new battery has the dean plug and it is 20C.
