I recently swapped out a 9202 for a 9252 as the elevator cyclic servo in my Sceadu. The servo is right next to the GY 401 as I have mounted the gyro above the elevator servo.

I noticed that the tail servo oscillated slightly each time the elevator was used. This problem can be solved by intalling a metal plate (a la 601) between the gyro and the servo.

I read that in the installation instructions for the 401 but you know they dont inclued the plate with the gyro... So I never gave it a second thought..Thanks

Happened to me...Luckily I was on the bench.

I use the thick Losi servo tape and it holds great.

BTW don't mount a 401 in the front of a T-rex. It must not like the motor.

I don't use the stock Futaba gyro tape anymore, like Clintstone and SteveL said, it seperates. I use double sided tape from my local car shop, it sticks very well. :)
