Hi,
Which is "better"?
Thanx

Very impressed with the G-force Head, just waiting on the flybar cage now but am hoping they will come out with a seesaw upgrade as the TT ally one won't fit because of the slightly squarer G-force head.
Not used kasama but I do like the seesaw passing through the head rather than around it.

It's hard to say which one is better, most of us can only afford one i think.
I have the kasama upgrades..
I'm very happy with it :), it made my MiniTitan less jumpy.
It's super smooth, direct, and very stable
no bunji cord effect in a hover (had that with the plastic head) and much more controllable.
Had some great flights today, made a lot of progress :)

Where do you get the Kasama or G-Force heads from ?
Know of any stockists in the UK ?
Thanks

http://fast-lad.co.uk/ for g-force & tt upgrades
Http://www.realraptors.co.uk/ for tt upgrades
Http://www.alien-rc.com/ for cheap genuine tt upgrades from hong kong.
If you should get the G-force head be aware that the metal TT seesaw carrier won't fit because the g-force head is a little squarer than the stock one.
The only place I've seen selling kasama stuff was in sweden, something like £68 for the complete head without shipping but can't find the damn link :(

I think I had best wait. Having landed my heli twice now with the tail a bit low...A bit more practice required before I get a great head :)
Stripped tail gear the other week, and I think I did the same yesterday.
Not sure, as one of the M2 socket screws that holds the tail section to the frame has lost its hex hole and is now round, so not got the tail out to have a look, so I've been asking on forums how to get the screw out!
So far looking for screw removers or using a torx screwdriver bit.

to get that screw out...if conventional methods have failed...get a dremel with a diamond tip engraving bit. try and grind a nice line across the stud....wide and deep enough to fit at least a slotted jewelers flathead into and try to remove it that way. sears has various sizes that get pretty small. just my .02.

Hiya,
Thanks for the reply, I ended up drilling out a bit of the recess jack (how i explain the proud hole the bolt goes into) and used some pliers for micro turns to get it out :)
Looks a bit messy, but im RTF again :)

Hi,
After learning forward flight!
I just ordered the kasama head for the mini titan!!
Mainly because I'm still flying around with a tracking problem.
We shall see what happens when it arrives in a week or two.

Great choice!
Tracking spot-on and 100% locked.
You'll love it.

EricW,
Just had a look at the Kasama site, looks great. Did you have to buy the linkage balls and washout set?
Cheers

My concern is what blades fit it. I heard the blade grips are 4.5mm
Most blades are 5mm thick. This really bothers me.... Any suggestions?

Just my 2 cents worth, but I would get the one that has the easiest / most availability of replacement parts. Obviously, that is'nt the Kasama.

I got my Kasama and it just make my MT fly so much smoother. I had the tracking issue and did everything to fix the problem. This things jumps when I punch it.

Sorry i missed your post Peter..
No, I ordered the complete head.
This includes head, grips, seesaw, flybar arms, upper washout arms and all bolts and balls that are needed to assemble it.
Is it true most 450 blades are 5mm thick??
I have the TT-325 carbon blades and they fit perfectly in the 4.5 mm, I thought Radix has the exact same thickness....
Edit: after searching long i found some shop saying the radix are 5mm thick, still i wonder what the exact core size is though and if it's a problem to get them in..
Haven't read it's a known problem, Maybe someone else can tell?
Parts of the head are easy to get over here btw.
Didn't need to replace them yet, wonder if you need to replace something in a normal crash (not gonna try on purpose ;) )
Maybe i'll also order the new kasama washout set soon.
And upgrade the swashplate.
I want to work on it again!... this heli is to reliable :D

This is what stops me from buying it. I would much rather have 5mm grips so I can run about anything on the market. Even if was to big like the TT blade grips at least you can use spacers to fly about any blade made.
