Hi,
I have a MiniTitan with setup Stock.
I was thinking to increase the performances;
Following setup is one good solution?
Batteries 4S 2100 Kokam 30C
Motor JustGoFly 500 TH with pinion 10T
ESC CC Phoenix 45 with Bec Medusa
Thanks.

Looks fine too me, obviously have a read of the info on the JGF website regarding the motor if you haven't done so already. http://www.justgofly.com/tech500TH.htm

Well I use a similar setup and like the 4s very much.
I run:
CCpheonix35
medusa bec
jgf450th w/ 9t a 10t will get you up in the hard 3d headspeeds.
and for now I am using heavy hextronixs packs
I would recomend a light battery. I dont think you will need a 30C pack on a 4s setup.
TP & flightpower both have a light weight line of packs
I have a fdr and the highest amp draw I have recorded is ~25amps (@2200mah thats only 11C)
a 2100mAh packs @ 30C is outputting over 60 amps... You will never draw that kind of current at 15v. I think the TP prolites only weigh 160grams & are 15C cont. and 24C burst which should produce ~30amps cont & ~50amp bursts.

Noguy, what sort of head speed you running ?

Maybe fixxxer would have an idea: How would compare say the 'just go fly 500' and the Z-Power Z10A?
Would it be best on 4S (the Just go fly 500)?
(Probably has been asked before, but I'm not sure..

All I know is I run a Z-Power Z10A-3300 on a 4s 1800 25C Flightpower and it makes some stupid ass power.
Also have a Medusa BEC and CC 35

While all true, packs run coolest and last best if operated at nor more than 75% of their rated continuous current and about 85% burst. So a 2100 15c/24C at 75% would be ~24A /43A which on a 4s pack is about 340W/ 580W, which is still indeed plenty and your packs should land cool and last a long time.

fixxer, sorry for the delayed response....
I am running a 9t and have idle one at 2700rpm and idle2 @ 2800
I think that the 10t is a better choice for headspeeds of 2800 & up.
Some may even try a 11t if they have all AL upgrades and fly balistic like.
I just sport fly mostly at this point so I preffer the longer flight times.
As far as the jgf450th vs the jgf500th the 450 is a lower KV so you have the ability to run lower headspeeds if you so choose. The 500 I would say is gonna give you 3d headspeeds with the smallest available pinion. and larger pinions are going to make the bird fly like a raped ape.
If its crazy power your after you need to be on 4s, imho. (I am a fan of higher voltage lower current whenever possible.)

Thanks for that Noguy, just wondered for future refrence. Will keep it in mind.
