Well I think that I have a CX2 now. I have put the Slickzero Hot motors on it, The Boomtail from Boomtown Hobbies, the superskids from Boomtown, the Blade extensions from Heilhobby, and I have a DN battery pack from Boomtown. I am on the Second hole on both servos, it has turned into a pretty good heli. It definately has some guts. The super skids are well worth the money and they are not expensive, I was breaking the stock skids about every three landings, not my strong point. The Slickzero motors really made a difference They dont get as hot as the stocks and they have more power, and so far I have not had any problems with the sand. Oh and I also have the upgraded blade holders from Helihobby. I really like them, if you hit something the blades fold instead of breaking. But all in all I am happy with it. It is not my CPP but it is fun to just fly around. The wife has told me that she is getting me a bird to play with while I am home on R+R. She wont tell me what kind I am scared. If it is a TREX i will die. I doubt it though. I will see if I can get the photos to load, I am on a Satellite system so I might not be able to but I will try.

So how do you like flying the CPP vs the CX2. I know they're worlds apart but I was wondering what, if any, difficulties you're having. I'm really thinking about getting something to keep my CX2 company. A T-Rex would be great, but I wonder if a CPP (or maybe a CP) would be an inexpensive trainer.
Also, where'd you the the slickzero motors and how much do they go for.
Thx

Everything I've read on here has basically said that the CP will end up costing you in parts what moving to a TRex 450 would have cost from the start due to the CP's inherent problems. I jumped from the CX/2 to the 450SEv2 and LOVED it. That was from last Christmas to March.

I guess I'm trying to justify buying an inexpensive collective heli. I would love to own a TRex 450se but the initial shock of the cost is what's making me hold off. Then again, in the long run it'll pay itself off over buying CPP parts time and time again.
Many posts are pro TRex and anti CPP. It's hard to argue with the masses. But I wonder if anyone out there flies a cpp and really really likes it?
Thx

I know that It is no good with out picts but I am on a satellite system and it I cant get things to upload most of the time. I personnally love the CPP. It is fun to fly but you do have to work at it. I got the Ball Bearing 180 motors at Slickzero.com, you can tell a big difference. and the boom EXT really helped with the rotors slapping and if you have done that you know that it becomes a brick. And the Ball bearing motors do not develop as much heat as the stock bushed motors. And the only parts I have had to replace on my CPP were out of my own stupidity. The Eflite parts are quick to arrive and they are APO friendly
