Greetings all!! just wondering to what % capacity it is safe to operate the TX before recharging. Have never put it to the test but I am curious as LiOn discharge cycles are different to NiMH and NiCd that I am used to.

I have ran the battery till the low battery warning comes on. It will come on at 30% capacity left. I would land as soon as possible after you hear the beep. The transmitter is not instantly going to go off at this point. You will have several minutes before battery is so low it will not power transmitter.

My low voltage warning comes on at 20%. I have gone down to 15% but I was flying a foamy at the time so I was not worried. I would stop ASAP after the low voltage warning as David said. I try to change out packs after I hit the 35% mark.

Thank you guys!! I have never run it below 60%!! Have an extra battery on the way, still good to know for when in places mains are not available!!!
