Went to the local park to get some quick flights in before the bad weather. Just as I'm unloading the Logo, the police roll up and I'm thinking I'm about to be asked to leave or worse :shock: Well, I keep a calm and positive attitude and answer their heli questions and they walk back to their car and leave without really saying anything:confused:

Got in a total of 7 flights between the Logo and 450. I'm beginning to appreciate the differences between the smaller and larger helis and each definitely have their strengths and weaknesses. Unlike some predicted when going to a larger bird, I still like flying the 450. It's small and fast and still the more familiar heli to me. That being said, having a larger heli is great (especially on windy days!) and gives a stable feeling and slows the time scale compared to flying a 450.

That makes 71 flights on the Logo with no quality issues or perceivable wear on any components. Good job Mikado :thumbup:

Man, u guys are getting lots of flying in. I'm gonna try for tommorow morning at the Basin since there's a huge storm that gonna hit tommorow evening till next week.

Also, I'll be out of commission from any heli stuff for 16 weeks sometime hopefully soon this year so I can focus on my career as I have to go to the Acacademy. I passed my physical aptitute test today, and next is investigation background. Freaken process is like 6 months to get in, but worth it to make about 80k a year!!! :)

hovig and i rebuilt our helicopteres, visited a few new hobby shops in different areas which was kinda cool, got to see some new faces! went to the park to do some night flying (with the lights on shining down into the park). did a few test flights on my new prototype scorpion motor and esc, boy its very very powerful and pulls so hard even my tail can't keep up. the highlight of the day, my bud hovig was flying, the park lights turned off, the entire park turned pitch black and all you heard was the heli (no one at the park of course, we were in an enclosed space). karma helped him bring his heli home unscratched and in one piece.

Its supposed to rain tomorrow:(. Just saw I Am Legend. Not to bad, the ending was weak. I almost jumped out of my pants a couple of times(it had parts where things jump out of nowhere!) And someone behind me kept kicking my chair in the parts where things jump out of nowhere. I think the movie is going to give me nightmares.

Jason that's the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Well because no one got hurt it was funny of course. I think in this situation I would go ahead and just hit throttle hold and try to guess when to apply pos. I am pretty sure I would have taken damage.
