******,, did you get the nitro?? what does it look like? quality or bs.
Not yet. I ordered it UPS Ground with free shipping. Should get it by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
Its soo hot that I called MTA Hobbies and they had sold out of all thier Knight 50 3D kits. Ah Clems from SCHC had secretily bought one also till I spilled the beans that I got one. He says his looks top quality as he got to see it in person at MTA Hobbies before he bought it.

Hopefully I'll have my nitro ready too.
Everything I wanted is out of stock, so I'm gonna have to go with alternative junk to make it fly!!!

I think I got one of the non-strap versions. Will that still work? And what is it for?

My guess is it'll wrap right around the fan hub and let you twist it tight. I wonder if you need a crank locking tool to use it?
And it's a happy day...my 14MZ is back from Hobby Services, as good as new! I never knew what a proper touch screen felt like. :)

I was now told I need a piston lock. Then another person says I need a dial indicator. So what do I really need now?
I'm going to the Hobby Shop to ask.

I think a crankshaft locking tool for the OS50 would be best, rather than a piston lock.
As for a dial indicator, I know I need to buy one and learn to use it. The Vibe, like the Synergy, and probably a lot of other helis out there, pretty much requires the use of a dial indicator when you install a fan hub so that you can measure runout. Runout, if I understand correctly, is how true and straight the item in question is mounted and how true it rotates.

My gosh, this stuff is getting complicated. I just got an el cheapo piston lock for $7 bucks at Hobby People.

dont use a piston lock, it can damage engine. use the crank locking tool. and depending on the type of fan hub your kit has it may require a dial indicator.
