Yeah that is good logic. Anti r/c heli name if I ever seen one. :)

Maybe I will drive to work and go fly in the warehouse tomorrow... Now I know I'm an addict. My name is HeliSmith and I am an r/c heli addict.

How come we don't post as often in this thread? On runryder and rcg there were posts every half hour.

Also, I think we should have an unofficial SCHC funfly. Just cause long isn't here doesn't mean we can't all gather at the basin or whittier next weekend.

Long isn't the only one with a key to the field. We can have an unofficial FunFly at the field if we get someone with a key and authority to let us do one. Like Jason or any of the original investors.

The thread was already losing momentum before any of this went down.

Jason: Check for field availability dates. The 20th @ Sunland.

Cool no rain and I went through 3 packs. I only have 3 packs. :o Anyway for the first pack my tail is wagging but it's muddie and I don't want to set it down. It's funny to see your heli wagging inverted. lol I knew there might be wag because I popped in the 9650.

Is it easy to swap the case on your 9650? I broke one of the mounting holes, 1 of 4, and I smacked it ever so slightly awhile back. So my 9650 case is coming apart before any signs of degradation are showing. 9650 is a sherman tank man. I reference my tail housing ejection trick last crash I had. :)

woohoo!! flew the lepton this morning outside. Great heli! awesome heli! lots of power with 4S 2200 pack. I think i might have killed the pack though. =( i ran it down till it was barely able to take off.

Nice Tim is back flying again! Man I can't wait to see you throw that thing around you have a nice flying style.

Re: Battery
Bad Tim no!

Mitch,
Thanks I will give it a go. Last time I tried to work on a servo was TowerPro and that went poorly for me.

Tim,

I think it is great that you are flying again also.

I think it was Pete who had a Lepton a few months ago. It looked really sharp and aggressive.

Sounds like the perfect machine for you.

Just let the shutter stay open a little longer. If you look real close the battery is not pluged in. It does look like it's spooled up though

Ah yeah I see the battery is unplugged now.

Charging batteries again may get one more round off before dark. Rain is light here. If I crash where I fly I am going to be digging mud out for a week. lol
