I got a couple of flights in with the Vibe today, and the new FASST G3 link feels good and secure. Range test at reduced power went to around 400 feet away before it timed out, as the range test has a limited amount of time it stays on before reverting to full power transmission.
In the air, it was smooth and precise, and it was a very secure feeling to know that I wouldn't be sweeping up the pieces because a kid in the area got a Blade CP on channel 34.

:arggg:Nevermind, it bit the dust. Went around a corner way too fast, almost slammed it into my mainbox and it hit the ground. Damage-skids and blades. Not to bad.

Don't you have an extra set of blades in your kit? Mine came with some. BTW, its an indoor flying, not outdoor. :)

Yeah. It flew in 0-5 mph winds just fine.

Scott got a different one than you Victor. He got a CP one that is slightly larger and runs on 3s

Yes its the CP. The battery only lasts about 2-4 minutes. It flies really well stock except for the crystals it came with, they gave me a lot of glitching.

That looks like the Walkera 52. If so, GOOD FREAKING LUCK. Don't mean to be a party pooper but BIGGEST POS ever made! If u try any 3D with it, be sure to know that the blades WILL strike the boom NO DOUBT. I had my contacts over seas produce carbon blades for it and I had intentions on bringing it to the market until I realized how STUPID I was. The Walkera 52 is good for nothing but a loop or two. Thats about it. The stock blades are foam with a wood core. POS. I dumped like 5 bills into mine and went brushless, TP battery, Castle Creation ESC, yada yada and all went to waste. Hey have fun with it while u can. That lipo sux balls. That whole heli is worthlesss. Hey if ur doing some level flight and are happy with 3 minute flight times, more power to ya. (is if it the Walkera 52 that is) haha. Just happen to browse this thread and see what u guys were up to. Sorry if my info means nothing to ya. Just sharing an experience... now back to making bank boarding. Pete in and out.

Welcome back pete damn man long time no see!
I gave away my Walkera 36 and all spares. I didn't sell it I gave it away. I hold the same sentiment as Pete. Listen you need to get the antenna unwrapped that's your glitching. You can't cross the antenna with itself.
I learned that you do not run the antenna forward in case of a crash. Run it back in this same fashion.

Those are Walkera DF4s' and ignore the SuperSkids thing. Use the little stick idea. Also you use the stick so you aren't landing on the antenna.

Good to see all is well with u guys Mitch and Mike! Still have a heart for this hobby but just no time. Trying to save enough money to buy a house and I'm not too far off! Between boarding contests, shoots, school, work, family, girlfriend, and hopes of the writers guild strike ending, I have barley time to eat and sleep. Hope to fly with ya all soon. :)
