Hey pete, you saying about going surfing now reminds me of a tv advert that's on over here at the moment promoting California & all it basicly say's is "come here,, All we do is surf, roller skate, laze about on beaches, woman are the best, etc etc" (no mention of rc heli's?)

Back to the 14MZ (yes it's the dogs knackers i agree, just ugly) Oh & i don't drink either tea or coffee

Guys, we really don't post here much like we did on rcg and rr. I think that we should move our discussions to our clubs' website, so there will be no trolls and stuff. I love helifreak, but we don't seem to post here much.

Pete,

Good to see you posting again.

I am having time problems too.

I finally got the servos installed in my Raptor 90 but, of course, they are not connected yet.

No time for anything except work right now.

If I get 15 minutes during the course of a day to do any hobby stuff it is a miricle.

Geez, not only am I old, I am really whiney!

No, this is it.

HeliFreak has seen fit to give us a home here and for the most part it's been smooth.

Thanks Bob, the fit is just fine, this is where we belong. :smokin:

You guys should have come here to begin with.... We don;t allow trolls man... people start bad mouthing or arguing it gets ended!

The motto is:
Fun, Learning, Friendship, and Mutual respect and we TRY to live up to it. Sometimes stuff happens but usually when it does it gets fixed... We aren't prefect and we have been growing so much we still are learning. But we want everyone to feel they have a place to hang out without worry of getting beat up!

Yeah I spend my time on the freak now. The more I spend on the freak the more I am addicted. Another thing is so many smart model builders on the freak. I never learned anything elsewhere after awhile. Now everytime I turn around I am learning something else.

Besides we need to stop moving and grow some good roots.

Hey guys, AMA Convention in Ontario is comming up really fast this weekend. I'll be there Saturday to try to catch all the killer flights by Alan Szabo, Jason Krause, Nick Maxwell, and Jason Chow, and whoever else is gonna be putting on a killer show. Can't wait. Hope to see some killer new heli's and products also. Heard Hovig is also gonna be flying one of his planes there also. Should be awesome.

You gonna be flying there Sean for Team Modefo's?

I put a bearing for the dampners in the 52 and this thing really flies nice now. Im digging the batteries getting charged in like 15 minutes. It had a encounter with my couch today, hehe, the skids flew off(krazy glues both of them back on). It also met the ground today when the battery quit on me when I was like 20 feet up. Picked it up, glued the skids on, put one extra blade on, and flew again. Mountain high was a good snowboarding day. Except for when I slipped and smacked my tailbone on ice. OWWWCH!!!!

You can get SuperSkids for it but then you need a lipo as they are a bit heavier.

Here's a video of a friend of mine at a competition in 2003. He took first nationally.

It's funny how the yoyo community and the heli community are so freakin similary. Must be things that spin...

Anyway, It's less quiet now, Egg.

Hope to see you at the AMA Convention ******, I think I'm going.

hi guys its been a while since ive dropped a line here.

ama convention is going on this friday, saturday and sunday. friday usually no one is at, saturday is when all the cool stuff goes on (also arguably the most crowded day) and sunday is the day to go if you want to buy things at a good price.

i will try to make it on saturday, walk around and meet new faces. definitely will do some circulation to see the rc industry, and of course check out the killer flying going on in the demo room. dont expect to much from me though, i dont want to slam my scoprion and kong power 450 into the ground with all its power

also, a few of us have created websites just for fun, feel free to check mine out, URL is in my sig.

Nice site, Jason. I like the look and layout.

I was an E30 nut for along time, but those days are gone.

Your E46 looks beautiful man. Have you dyno'd it with the nitrous? What do you pull bhp?

Vic, I'll be wearing a hat with a Grateful Dead "Steal your face" skull like my avatar's face! I'll look for ya.

That GY401 is a champ in my MiniTitan, thanks again. Now I have to buy one for my Shogun. That's another 100 bucks.. yeah.. thanks... hahah.
