Office or unofficial? Jan 27th would be unofficial as our president is out of the country. I can do whatever weekend I worked out a deal with my ex.
Hey where's the best place to buy Phoenix and it is the Specktrum cable I need for DX7 not JR right?
It comes with the correct cable. I got mine from tower hobbies.

From what I last heard is Tower Hobbies outlawed the sale of Phoenix simulator here in the U.S.. So you have to order it from Europe. I hear shipping is not too bad.

Thanks for showing me the CopterX 200 ya bastids!
I ordered one and it's on its way...:YeaBaby:
I could of bought the motor they sell with but I know I'll want something different, same goes for the 11.1v 800mah battery, I know I'll want something different. I've got so many parts laying around I think I can make a few of them work.
Now I gotta figure out what size motor to put in it??? I've got one I used on my helimax that was a bit too small for the axe, 2900kv, hmmmm and an oem rc esc I can use and some tower pro servos, the tower pro's believe it or not fit, that dude on that thread had an HS65 in the servo location and it fit fine. May have to use HS56s....:rolling

I dropped by Hobby People to pick up a few parts and they didn't have what I wanted as usual, but I did get to talk to Scar/Hovig and see his nice new flesh wound. :rolling

Mitch you want to borrow my ARC 80 and some 2.3mm pinions? I can let you use it to see if you like it. It's brand new I did a bad job of putting a flat spot on the shaft but good enough.
Let me know if you wanna try it I am not even sure it is the right size for this application. I bought it to use with my 300 FP but I don't have a receiver for that now that I bought the Shark. Don't feel like working on that thing for the moment.

hi guys, the ama convention was fun, great to see many new faces. its true that there was an incident involving a helicopter and my buddy that i was sitting next to, it kind of shock me up alittle. my flying wasn't on that day so i packed it up and just circulated the convention.
whenever the next event will be, i will be there, saturday or sundays are both options.
rock on guys, keep up your flying!

Nice Mitch. If you need replacemet parts, you might be able to use the HDX 300 parts.

So he didn't need stiches or anything? That really sucks that he got hit in his head but at least it won't be a visible scar right?
I bet it shook you up Jason man what a trip.

What!? No scar. What was it that Evil Knievel said to Bart on the Simpson's, "Bones heal and chicks dig scars."

A few of us flew at Sunland today and I picked up a new canopy for my Raptor from Mad Dave as well as a few other parts. The canopy is a composite one from Thunder Tiger and I really like it, a lot. Slim design, me likey. I was a bit tentative flying the 90 today and ended all my flights early, up side is it's still in the right amount of pieces. and I got the collective sorted, I didn't have enough positive pitch, works great now.
Dave had his 600E smokin like a Nitro heli, that was some funny shit right there, then he flew it again just to see...........mad dave.....:rolling
Jason stopped by for a few, good to see you Jason. :smokin:
I had an issue with the Trex Hacker, I over loaded it with an ooops and it started acting funny so I put it in normal flight mode and then hit throttle hold and came in hot and pulled the nose up for a tail landing, I think I might have bent a feathering spindle, pretty sure that is all that got damaged.
Live to fly another day. :)
All in all, a good day flying in the wind, made it more exciting.

Couple pics...
I'm so reluctant to put all my nice stuff on it, I know when I do something will go wrong and I'll have a pile of junk. My Scorpion is my nicest 450 and it does nothing but auger into the gound, I think the receiver is to blame and I'm replacing it.

The composite canopy is longer and thinner. It will get the same paint job as the fins got, with a twist thrown in.

Tim that sucks. Are one of the cells reading funny? If not just try slow charging it.
I had my bench battery on the table and I went out to smoke. My cat will grab stuff and take off with it and then he's behind the couch with it. Well the battery is in the floor almost to the couch and the cat was under the couch without it. Man I wish I could have seen that. I bet he grabbed it by one of the leads and got a little surprise. :rolling
