Yeah, believe it or not, a few months ago Scott new a lot more about 450 setup than me:oops: But anyway, You can get really long flight times if you get your curves right. My t curve in normal is only 0 25 45 50 50. I can hover for six minutes on my amp sucking medusa and only put back about 1400 mah back in the pack.

I'm buying/bought ALL new electronics for the Scorpion Trex with exception to ESC and motor.
If this one goes in the scrap bin I don't know what to do after that, it's already crashed twice due to electrical failures, I think the rx is what failed and am buying new one and was forced to buy a new gyro since it destroyed my new one, it destroyed a new gyro.
faaaakkk!
Lets see costs on last crash: blades, tail boom, gyro, bec took a hit too, belt, rear shaft, main shaft, oh crap, to much too list........if it does the same thing I'll likely go bullistic and take a baseball bat to it....(where's the "beat the "F"n crap out of it icon"?)

Hey Mitch man, my Scorpion Commander 55amp ESC has been working flawless now that I installed a SportBEC to supply juice to my electronics. Jason on the other hand, runs his Scorpion ESC without an ESC and it performs flawless also. Then again, he's got the latest and greatest updated version like always!! :)

that is the Scorpion -8, yes, I did it with woodies and no problem, 100% flat curve too and a 100-95-100 curve, no problems. Flight power 2170 25c, blah blah blah....
3330 from what I found. Didn't get the chance to try anything else. Waiting on the gyro I bought to show up.
I'll have the 90 re-geared and the Scorpion flying by this weekend, the re-gearing on the 90 should be fun. 1950+ headspeed with 710mm blades.
Cool Mitch thank you that's exactly the reinforcement I needed. I realize again it is at my own risk but it is good to hear people you trust say they ran it.
Man 1950 and 710mm blades on a 90 nice. Get some video yeah?

What Jason is really trying to say is that he hasn't flown a heli in 6 hours.
Just take a very deep breath, close your eyes, and think of the most peace place you've ever been. This will help you feel better!!!! :smokin:

Whittier Narrows, it's the best spot for everyone. Not too far and is a great flying field.
Three day weekend, pick a day or two.
I vote for Saturday but I'll likely have to work, HOPE not. If I do I'll bail out early to go fly. :YeaBaby:
I'll fly Sunday and Monday too.
Wind has been a non issue at Whittier.
