it was a fun day out, vic got literally my first flight in about 2 months since ive flown my 600, felt good though.

sean, the space was very small and the capture vic used was very weird in a sense that it did make everything look very close to me. i was standing a good 15-20ft away from that black pad and the 600 more than that distance away. i learned my lesson already.

peter owns with that huge 40%, it was fun to see him juggle that thing around. if he told me correctly, i think he to has not flown in a while. heck, alot of us didn't fly for a while.

tim and his one battery lepton managed to squeeze 3-4 flights in due to my charger lol. boy guys, wasn't that one guy bob at that field a jerk, lol

OK, all the talk about going to Whittier Narrows today, so where did I go?

Whittier Narrows.

A lot nice people there but no SCHC guys.

Mitch,

I expected you to be out there tearing things up with your Raptor 90, Including mine, there would have been four of them out there.

Little wind, lots of room to fly, etc.

Raptor 90 is extremely smooth and easy to fly, with tons of power (and it is stll getting broken in). I got in five flights on the Raptor and four on the Trex 450 over the course of five hours or so.

Mike,

Sorry to hear that your ship went in I hope it is flyable very soon.

Also, I picked up another antique-a complete and intact American Revolution "Commander" (roughly 1979 vintage) for $50.00. I have not restored mine, due to a lack of spare parts, now I will be able to. It has an OS60 FSR, the original Heloball muffller, and appears to have been stored in a relatively good environment. The paint job is ugly as he!!.

This think is really, really ugly (it has been described as a giant "flying sperm") but for its time it was pretty good.

ok guyz, the Knight is back in business. Just installed the OS Hyper 50 back in it and am about to order a killer Align pipe, that should let me freak the skies just like Jason did on his nitro with the same setup.

Ohh yea, next time up the skies are gonna shake like if its the 2nd Comming!!!! :)

Victor,

oh yea. I couldn't really see my self selling it yet. When I did have it flyign around, it flew so smooth and precise, and was even able to do a flip with my gov not working right while it stayed in normal mode. Of couse, it bogged bad on the flip, but its so fast it came around quickly in recovery. Now try that with any other nitro and see what happens!!!! :)

Richard: I'm very sorry I didn't make it out to Whittier, I knew there would be a few that showed up expecting the SCHC crew to be there, it wasn't my idea to do otherwise but the field was closer and.... well, I really don't have a good excuse and I hope you don't hold it against me. :smokin:

I'll be there tomorrow, likely have the place to myself.

Mitch,

Not a problem, I was just hoping to see everybody.

I am really enjoying the Raptor 90.

By the way, how tight/loose is the gear mesh between the orange gear and the white tail drive gear on you 90? Mine seems a bit loose, after 11 flights or so. Is see no easy avenues to adjustment here.

Thank you.

You are dangerous ******. You think this is funny and you fly 3D?

I do not want to see this kind of stuff posted on HF again. This is your FINAL warning.

Guess you know nothing about this heli. First off, it has the power and size of a PiccoZ, and can't even hurt a fly. You can easily catch it in your hand, even with the blades spinning, and not fell a dang thing.

Your just looking for a reason to bann me. Give me a break.

While it's larger than a PicooZ, it ain't much more dangerous, I believe. In order to injure somebody with it, I think you'd have to fly it right at their eyes.

I think my Hirobo XRB would be more frightening. It's got more mass to it. :)
