Damn dude a god servo!

http://www.readyheli.com/FUTM0550_BLS251_Brushless_Heli_Rudder_Servo_p/futm0550.htm

Says it works with 601 or 611 but no 401. :(

My buddy from Hobbypeople told me about them. Here's Futaba's links

hey bob, didn't kevin mention in the video that the 1400kv was the more efficient motor for the 500 that scorpion made?

Guys, I bet I could get one of the janitors to open up the gym on the weekend at my school.

I have the Copter X200 to put together, I have everything I need but time. I'm going to put a Scorpion motor in it as soon as Lucien can figure out what to recommend. Cool guy.

Who has a big enough living room for a funfly? :YeaBaby: :lolol:fly

You might consider a JGF motor too. They are really Z-Power motors but they have a pretty decent line of smaller motors.

I am going to run this ARC 80 in mine hope my wife gets me mine for my birthday.

oh man. ur so lucky. I think I might now order one tonight since the Trex 500 metal kit won't be out for a while probably.

Yeah Mitch is driving me crazy with the Rappy and now he is shopping for a 600N..

I am definately either going to do a wing or a foamie plane next though.

The Knight 50 3D is only $399 now and flies a bit better than a Trex 600 Pro tooo.

Ya, got an email on the TT 53 engine today too. If it fits the Trex N I think I'll go for it. Nice lookin engine and if it's all they say it is, I'm "all in".:lolol

Mike: forget the planks, that's for another day. I have one that needs minor work and one that needs the electronics installed and they are just hangin on the wall. They are "F"in boring! Bob will agree I'm sure, he hates them more than me. ;)

Heli's D00D! :fly

Yeah but I want a 600N. So many people to copy their setup like Jason Chow.

Edit:
hmm thanks for the logic Mitch. You are probably right.

BTW, the Copter X 200 is getting a Scorpion motor, I"ve been nothing but pleased with the performance.:smokin:

All I need for night flying is the Align driver and an adapter for the driver to go 6v. Hey Zguy! How do I do that? Got an extra?

I've got the extra parts en-route to fix the Hacker Rex, Hacker motor is coming out and being replaced with a Scorpion V2, the other Trex/Scorpion is getting upgraded to a V2 also, thanks to Lucien @ innov8tive.

I just read somewhere that the Redline gives more tork than an OS Hyper 50 on the Trex 600. This is for sure a HOT engine guys.

I just was at Hobby People to look at that new servo. It looks so sweet.. I wish it worked with the 401. That would make one sweet ride that motor, a 611 gyro and the FUTM0550 BLS251 Brushless tail servo.

go foam!!! i picked up a BAF at the AMA show...sweet 9mm foamboard and 700sq/in wingspan BIG ASS FOAMY..lets see you hover that..

I was thinking one of those cheapie foamie planes, 2 servos, a motor and a receiver. My son is a natural on the sim with the planes he can even land.

I would be a natural but ever other time I go upside down I kill the throttle and by the time it registers I am already crashing.. lol

@ $199 for the TT 53 I couldn't resist. Done.

Now all I need is a heli to put it in. :lolol

I've tried to buy two different Trex 600Ns and the sellers are flakes, here and elsewhere.

I'll just buy one with motor and sell it off so I can put the 53 in it. Or mothball it for later use if needed.

I'm workin way too much OT and my wallet is too fat! :smokin:

I flew my 450 at work today and one guy will be at the LHS buying one soon, the others were impressed. Damn near crashed it at least 3 times....

i think the 600n stock, metal head, metal tail, os 50 hyper, align pipe and the new radix 600mm stick bangers are the best combo. there is so much power and it flies so nice. the ys gets problematic, and who knows what the new thunder tiger engine is going to do. im starting to realize that a ballistically powerful helicopter doesn't fly that great, its more about harnessing the power and flying smoothly with it. with that said though, mitch, im glad you got the motor so that we can check it out. i hope you get a 600n soon though also so you can put the redline in it. im very curious how it runs.

I don't disagree with that but I believe there needs to be a nice balance.

Take the -6 V2 motor now the biggest problem with this motor is the 3.17mm shaft and the 4400KV. It forces you into 3500+ HS because you can't get a 10T pinion on it without CA that I could find. Who would trust CA on that motor I dunno. So yeah that one is just over powered for the application. If it had a 2.3mm shaft and I could take it down to 9T pinion it would be sweet and I would own one. There is going to be the guy who needs the 3400HS and gobs of power too I am just never going to be that guy.

Using that same logic if the nitro motor you are getting can be toned down but still have all that torque I would go with the all that torque and just gear it down. A motor less worked is a motor less weakened.

Just a total inexperienced theory.

your right mike, there does need to be a balance. i forgot to mention that the items i choose in my heli are what they are because i feel it has that balance. the -6 is alittle too fast for me now, it just makes everything accelerated which is cool, but i like the -8 better, more graceful and i dont tweek main hubs haha.
