Just got back from terrorizing the local school yard, (about 200yds away) burned up 4 packs with some inverted hovering, got down about 3ft off the ground which is a first for me.


Love the -8 Scorpion! My AR6100 was defective, the ESC works fine with a BEC on 6v. Can't wait to put the new V2-8 in my other Trex. Got a Hacker motor for sale, cheap.

I did it again...I was just doing some smooth circuts down my street and the pack was dying, so, I thought to myself time to do a small auto.......................BAD IDEA! As I flipped throttle hold I realized it:arggg:.


I was in normal mode!:arggg::arggg::arggg::arggg:
I took it in hard:bawl it hit the ground, bounced up and flipped over:bawl No damage though ffffeeeew! I was expecting a craked blade or atleast a nice scratch on my canomod canopy, but nothing!:YeaBaby:
That taught me a lesson!

Dang Mitch you are progressing fast. You are better than me already easily. I can't inverted anything 3' off the ground. I have done inverted backwards that close but believe me it wasn't on purpose. Actually I am still pretty nervous doing inverted flight but I am getting through it finally.

Man I never learned vertical backwards flight and I started training yesterday. It always bored me so I didn't bother I can do it a little. Well I learned inverted funnels easily but I realized I can't do vertical funnels because I don't know how to fly backwards.

At least you got a sack I wouldn't have tried that on my street. Tried it at the August 26th FunFly and I learned nothing on the heli I can't do on the sim. lol

I start thinking about what sticks to move when I am low and I lose it. I can get it inverted and bring it down no problem.

I can easily save it. I've been practicing all of the inverted orientations lately. i.e. inverted piros inverted ff and hovering. Learning what stick does what though, is up to you.

Ok I will take you up on it. I don't care if I crash but it will have to be through a chain link fence or something no way am I putting you in harms way. I know you are good I have seen you fly and as I said if I crash I crash that's why I have two 450s'.

I think I can do it anyway just not a priority worth crashing for as of yet.
