Great job Scott! Now you're halfway to putting on a super extreme mad 3dz show!:)

No kidding you are getting good fast Scott.

I think the older you are the longer it takes. I have backwards flight down it was easy. Funnels I am still working on. I can do them, in the sim of course, if I sit down and practice it for a little bit but when I come back I have to practice it a little first again. Ah well burn it in that's my method. As soon as I have tail first funnels I think I only have nose first funnels and I will have every orientation down.

well, i went out and flew today (weather was actualy good for once) and i got half way through the first pack and my motor slid back from the main gear :(

luckly i hit throttle hold about 20' up and tried to auto (it was an inverted auto) and i hit on the skids and only damage was the anti rotation bracket (don't ask  .... it ripped off during the auto [my fault, forgot to readjust it])

well, i was going to order 2 more lipos (i only have two) but it doesn't seem that i can get through even 2 packs with out a crash :arggg:

That sucks Tyler. Maybe you should just fly vertical for the first pack. That's what I do I have 3. Then I cut loose.

Wow, that really sucks, You and sean can be the Crash bandits:P Ya, I fly easy on my first pack, FFF and a few flips. But that was completely un-avoidable. Are you using 2 screws to hold the motor on or just one?

Motors jump back with loctited screws sometimes

A 2221-8 V2 and a TT 53H, LOVE the 53, I'll either be on a buying spree for a trex 600N or just buy one off somebody that is selling a near new heli.

there is one for sale for $1650 in the for sale here and it's nice but......very tempting, VERY!

Only have one Trex 450 flying right now, my inverted landing used a part that I needed to rebuild the old Hacker Rex, got that on order but won't have it til next week, so the new V2 will have to wait til next weekend.

All I need for night flying is the Align driver and an adapter for the power source.

Nice Mitch.. I don't know if I want to go with that motor. I mean I definately don't want motor problems I would love to hear that motor is idiot proof. That's how I would recognize that it was the right one for me.

I think I'm working too much, all I do is buy heli parts on line every night. Gotta stop this insanity.

Know where I can get a deal on a 600N?.........:smokin:

I did good though tonight, only spent $40 bux.

BTW, the Raptor 90 fly's awesome with the TALL gearing, I'll need to change it when I get better at 3D., Got all the upgrade parts on the porch today, 3D clutch and liner, 3D housing, 3D...., 3D ....CNC fan....the fan helps a lot!

Ok I am starting to get piro flips.. You push the aile elev aile around in the opposite direction of the piro right?... Seems backwards but it is working. I am starting to do fun stuff now. No wonder I was getting so frustrated.

Phoenix is the shizzle.

I know you did and I thank you for it! Good advice..

People said there'd be a learning curve from RF to Phx but I didn't notice it.

Going to start using expo. Asked a question on the 450 forum but..

I have it setup with 25% expo. Do I also have to set EXP to ACT in the swash mix menu?

I downloaded and installed everything including the 1.05c beta or whatever. The Trex 500 seemed weak so I bumped the motor kw from 0.9 to 1.3.

The Trex 600N with the red canopy seems very nice. Flies great as is!

WHAT????? That mega balistic u got it at now HeliSmith. What great about Phoenix is that it simulates real flight, unless of course, you bump up the setting like Mikey did!!! :)

Peter, make sure you get a house with a HUGE backyard, so we can come over and fly our Heli's!!!! :)

Pete: Glad to here you are going to buy a house!

Vic: I have tried the G3.5, Reflex and Phoenix and now I'm sticking with the G3.5. If only I had a G4...

Now is 6:13am and I'm out for flying!
