WHAT????? That mega balistic u got it at now HeliSmith. What great about Phoenix is that it simulates real flight, unless of course, you bump up the setting like Mikey did!!! :)

Victor when I am inverted flying slow backwards my heli doesn't suddenly fall out of the sky with max pitch no matter what I do. That's what the default Phoenix 450 3D model does so I bumped it until it stopped doing that. You think I am off the scale of reality? I should put it back? You can't hear the engine sounds too well.

Vic: I have tried the G3.5, Reflex and Phoenix and now I'm sticking with the G3.5. If only I had a G4...


Watch out for that Wylie Coyote effect. (Carton guy who falls off the cliff and runs in place for 10 seconds before falling.)

When you are inverted hover say 8 feet up turn the heli exactly sideways with 0 pitch and count how long it takes to hit the ground. Helis don't take a 3 count to hit the ground here. It's more like sideways 1 CRASH! This is only one example of the unrealistic nature of RealFlight. I was aware of it and made sure not to use it in training.

Naw, put it like you like it to fly. Thats whats great about Phoenix, you can tweak the setting to ur taste. Personally, I'll know maybe this weekend how the Trex 500 flies in reality!!! :)

I swear, UPS is the slowest and worst shipping ever. I ordered it Sunday, and I still don't got it and it shipped Monday.

I was waiting for the -8 V2 to be in stock. Couldn't take it any longer and ordered the -6 V2. I have a couple ESCs' to fry 40A and a 35A. Wish me luck guys probably end up buying a Sccorpion ESC new version for it though.

Man a -6 motor going to put it on the Sky Shark. Hope it doesn't snap that 3mm feathering in half. 11T revco steel pinion and CF blades.

Mikey, I ran an Align 35amp ESC without BEC and it handled the Scorpion 6 motor with no problem. No need to upgrade unless you want the nice bling look of the Scorpion ESC's.

BTW, Bert K. ran his 6 motor with the Align 35amp ESC all the time with no problem also. What u do need now though is 2500mah batteries.

I"m really itchin to get a 600N, need a engine holder for the TT53H....I"m going to run the same servos I've got on the 90, JR8717s, love em. Now I need another 611gyro w/9256, I don't need any more than that. What about Spartan though????? :thinking

What ever you think, you don't need a 611. I have a 401 on both my heli's and the tail never blows out. The only difference is slightly more consistent piros.

I went to hobby people today, and of course, they don't carry v2 stuff. I HATE Hobby People! They SUCK! They never have anything in stock! Worst hobby shop ever!!

Yeah what really sucks is usually what Hobby House is out of Hobby People is definately out of. Ended up putting a plastic cogged tail shaft on my heli. I try to avoid that.

I have to take my daughter to the father daughter dance or I'd hook you up. Someone should bring you some to Whittier though these are something we usually have lots of extra of.

I really don't care who goes and who doesn't, I'm going so "I" can fly.

It's nice to have a few friends to bs with but that's not why I go flying.

Last time I went Bert was there and gave me some good advice on the Raptor 90 and Aaron was there with the TZ90 featured in RC Heli mag and a few others as well.

Never know who will be there.
