I wanted one too Mitch, but when I learned that most of the top guyz that flew at XFC 2007 used the DX7, there was no need for it. I'd rather spend my money on another killer heli, than spend $700 bucks for a transmitter.
BTW, not sure yet about Saturday flying. I only got one freaken heli now as my Trex 500 never got delievered. I think Marvin snatched it somehow!!
If I go Saturday to Whittier, I'm thining I'll be there around noon.
I'll see how I feel when I wake up. :)

NO it doesn't! Feels like you're sleeping your life away.
Getting up at the crack of dawn is living, especially if she's awake.

Victor,
The other day when I attacked your flying skills, "in fun" or whatever, I have it on my mind like a heavy lead weight. That was wrong and I don't think you can't fly. I apologize publicly and vow to never do that again. I have been flying CP for 6 months and can barely do anything inverted. I crash a lot so it's not like I have room to talk about that anyway.

Pete you have to hit the Post Reply button not the quick reply box. Then there is a [more] link.
All,
I just ordered an Ikarus 10T pinion for my -6 V2 motor. I am betting this is the ticket for this motor. I will know if it doesn't blow my blades off!

LOL. I thought it was all funny HeliSmith because in the last 6 months, I've only crashed 3 times and one was because of radio lockout.
Now, before that, I crashed like 50 times. LOL
We can all mess around here cause we all know each other personally and fly together. Its those who don't know us personally and don't fly with us regularly who are the ones who really don't know what they are talking about.
Anyhow, its all good, and I'm heading out to Whittier Narrows baby to fly my Nitro!!!! :)
I should be there by 1pm!!!

I am sticking around here today I will be interested in going out next weekend.
Flew crashed almost done rebuliding. I forgot to push the rear elevator ball link all the way on. It was just on the shaft and it biinded on me. Didn't have any left cyclic was locked in a right pitch. Obviously knew something was wrong and I hit thold at like 6 feet and fed it full pitch. Didn't even bend the 3mm feathering shaft, just the main.

Vic's heli flew great, once Eric fixed his motor for him, piece on the bottom was backwards, basically a lake of fuel in the bottom of the motor.

Yea, my Knight 50 3D so was freaken balistic today that it was actually scary. That OS Hyper 50 with Align pipe just kicks a$$$$$$$$$$ with power.
Thanks to Eric Stolz, he dialed in my Nitro killer. I'll post a couple vidz in a bit. Toooooo bad the rest of SCHC didn't come out to join us. It was a very beautiful day, and very little people flying.

Had a set screw failure in my flybar cage again. I used a cheapy because I was out of good ones. ugh Going to drill this one out I have practice this time. Tried everything on it, torx, heat, ground flat screwdriver.
My stuff shipped from ReadyHeli so I will have the other 450 up. Hopefully I will have both up by next weekend.

For those that didn't show up, you missed the best day of flying in a long time! Some pro's showed up and you missed that too.
I had a great day, the Scorpion flew great until I turfed it and the 90 is a great big bird.
needs some minor adjustments but as always it flew great.
You guys missed out.
