I got some killer vidz guys. Long was just tearing it up on the Synergy 90. WOW. He's like a mini-Asian Szabo just waiting to be born!!!!
Trex 500 was very impressive flown by Jason Chow. I stopped by Jason's house on the way home to give him the raw footage so he can start converting some video. I also got two flights merged being converted now for u all.
We got also Tim Jones putting on a killer show on his Trex 600 Nitro and the wild crazy auto by little 13 year Sean crashing into the fense on the way down, and some killer 3D also.
Those and a few more will be up in a bit, along with the rest of the show!!! :)

this is for rob:
rob, i feel more and more how well of a setup logo you have. you did your research and you did it well. not only is much more reponsive, i would not touch the setup. it does not need more power, it does not need more cyclic or pitch. it doesn't need more of anything at this point other than batteries so you can fly it. im very happy for you and would love to see what you come up with next, if there is something else to be found!
heres the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU6tpB-Ambo
this is for dave (who reads but doesn't post):
sorry for crashing your raptor 90 today, that tail let go during the reverse piro flips and it was a gonner since i was too low. make a list of those parts and ill take care of you :)
long,
your synergy flies awesome. it was the first time i flew it and i wouldn't do any of that unless i was comfortable. even on those thunder tiger blades, the thing flew awesome. get some radix or vblades or rotortechs and see if they are better. btw, dont crash it when you go to vietnam!
mike,
sorry i didn't fly your 450 again, those interferences that time kind of made me cautious and especially since it wasn't my heli, i wouldn't feel comfortable even taking it up again. you know what your doing and im sure your setup is just fine. try using the 220mm flybar on there as stock now and you should be good :)
sean, your auto into the fence is a keeper video for me. i couldn't stop laughing thats how bad it was. BAM!
for you other guys, dont fly so close to the pits next time (you know who you are)
thanks john for taking those pictures, they came out awesome and its my new desktop picture on my laptop.
from me: the day was good even though i had to leave early. my align 500 flew very well even on the first flight, was able to 3d it right away. a few things i need to tweek and it should be good to rock and roll. victor took a bunch of videos and i think hes going to post some but i myself will post the align 500 content in about 1 day.

Thanks for the video.
Never have liked videos that have spectators talking during it. Enjoyed the video none the less.
Didn't get the scorpion flying, not sure what the problem really was? :dontknow
Have to make sure the ESC is programmed right first.

Just catching up on this but after READING THIS
****** for sure was a lock out on the Mars and Jason was going to test fly mine but it locked out and went full throttle just like Vic.
You guys clearly are NOT binding your spektrum radios correctly! A lockout should not go to full throttle if you BOUND it with zero throttle... MAN that is so unsafe... Please please please... Learn to bind with zero throttle!

There has to be something weird going on with some spektrum systems. I have 15, all of them on the DX7 with either the AR6000 or AR7000 and not a single lockout, glitch or voltage re-boot....To sum it up either I'm extreamly lucky or ya'll need to revisit other parts of your setup.....

Well mine didn't go to full throttle, all the controls just froze and kept going in the same direction last set on the tx. Very wierd. But thanks for the tip of binding it at zero throttle. :)

There's a couple of things I know what it might be. When I had this rx on the Mini-Titan, I never once had a lock-up in the 6 months I flew it. But now on the Mars my setup changed with new ESC and motor. I'm gonna put a BEC on it again, and not use an extention connector for the throttle cable.
I'm also thinking of going to the AR6200 since the Mars 480 is a bit bigger than a regular 450.

Thats what DX radios do on lock out.... They do NOT have a fail safe like a PCM radio system. The servos HOLD where they are but throttle should go to 0 if you bound correctly! Only real failsafe on a AR6000, 6100, 6200, or 7000 is on throttle ONLY.
Be safe and set your normal throttle curve to FLAT 0 and then BIND at center throttle stick. Then once bound go back and set your normal throttle curve back to where you want it.

Won't binding the throttle at center stick still give you 50% throttle? Shouldn't it be bound at low stick to give zero throttle?

Gene.... I agree with you... I have 5 6100's and 3 of them are on old 1.0 software! I have 4 AR7000's and now that I recently got a X9303 I have a JR921....
ALL of them have not given me one OUNCE of a problem.....
I do believe I am NOT lucky and that some are having a problem do to setup or they F'ed up their RX antenna's or something along that line.

You didn't READ what I said.... go into your NORMAL throttle curve and make that a FLAT 0 throttle... What that means ****** is no matter where your throttle stick is when you bind the RX will see ZERO throttle....

ahhh. I understand now. I thought you meant to put 0 at the first point of the throttle curve only.
Got it..
Thankx :)
