I'm gonna need help with the C-Spec, as I'm just not sure how lean I can go on it without harming it. I'm a nitro n00b, so it's better that I proceed with caution rather than destroy a beautiful and costly engine.

After that, I need to get the governor working. I've never setup a nitro governor either (Throttle Jockey Pro), so again, I need help. :)

Despite those things, the Vibe is flyable as is. It's not developing the power that it's capable of, but it will lift and fly without trouble.

TJ Pro is a breeze to set up and since you're a 14MZ kinda guy, it's even easier. Hit up the MA web page (http://www.modelavionics.com/) and download their easy setup sheet. make sure you hit the HS calculator so you can get in the ballpark with the settings..

Also, make sure you've got the thing working well without the TJPro enabled. That way, should it take a crap on you, you'll still have valid curves to fly/save the heli with.

if you go too lean she wont idle and it will overheat. do a runin on the bench if you can.did you get in the air on sunday? sorry i couldnt stay longer.

I'm sure she's run-in, now. I've burned over a gallon in it running it rich, I'm just scared I'll lean it out too much and not recognize that I've done so.

I did fly yesterday, but it was only one flight, as the wind was kind of messing with me.

I'm sure I would, and I will in the future. I just have a commitment to meet Skiddz at Arbor, and I certainly won't be his reason to not make it! :)

that would be un- kind. these guys do get wild, in a controlled way some times. have you seen the vid from the last event? the drag race was tooooo funny. it looked like a bunch of gnats(450s) were chasing hawkks(nitro,s).

Trooper Sam

I know...I want to do the drag race when I'm there. :)
