Hi sinver

No, you still have to set the region to Europe. But that's pretty easy now.

DDJ

But then, it does not serve to configure the module as European because the radio not will recognize it, it is not thus ?

How it can be changed the region in the radio ? (my radio is one new Futaba 12FG)

regards !!!!

On the 12Z and 14MZ you have to match the region to the module. Or use the "8" codes and still match the band setting bit in the eeprom.
OK ?

What region is your radio now and what freq. is your module ? What freq. do you want ?

I have successfully reprogrammed my module of 35MZ HK version to 35MZ European version with all 35MZ European channels with "82" code and can be used in my 12FG tansmitter of Hong Kong region.

Hello yes i have the two module and after a complete checkup, the only way to modify module it's :
- Unsold eeprom
- Make a adaptator for white connector ( see my pics in the programing TM14 thread )

I have an US module TM14 to sell, i m in France if anybody it's interest, ( pm me )

OK,

I have seen the photos

but I do not understand why you can not weld directly the programming wires
to the E2PROM ?

When we weld on the eeprom our reader dont read this eeprom each time, sometime he read a near microcontroler. What why we need to isolate eeprom. :)

OK, I understand
but which is the reference exactly of that E2PROM ?
you could make to you a photo with macro to see the exact reference ?

You can see my photos and to compare with your module of 2,4Ghz ;)

It simply means the eeprom is a 93C56 on the 2.4GHz module and not a 93C46.
Pin conections are identical but you should choose the right eeprom type in the programing software: microwire 16 bits 93C56.

It's maybe for that, my local futaba distributor don't read the eeprom ? ^^

Yes, & I have been seeing the date sheets of both eeprom and seem equal in all except
in which 93C46 it can have 256/1K and 93C56 it is of 2K

Would have to be be able to read if are made to coincide the pines according to my scheme of 93C46, not ?

MZFAN, That you hold ?

Yes you should be able to read and write. Just choose the right eeprom type in the software... and tell us the results!;)
Best regards to you too.

Skymax, you can prove your what comments MZFAN ?

If you can not , perhaps I would help you if sent me your module ;)

I already I have read and written in a module of 35Mhz, and I have been able to change the region also it is very easy

best regards !!! :)
